We are looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about people and ready to take on a key role, supporting and further developing our HR function. If you have 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role and are eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you! We are seeking a local candidate who can provide regular on-site support at our Hollywood, FL, office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, from drafting job ads to screening candidates and scheduling interviews. Handle onboarding, including collecting documentation and conducting orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the go-to HR contact, assisting with conflict resolution and promoting a positive work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Manage health benefit queries, support new hire enrollments, administer Leave of Absence, and assist with annual open enrollment.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
- HR Projects & Compliance: Assist with HR projects, research best practices, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining accurate employee records.
- HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, coordinate employee recognition programs, and assist with office events and communications.
Recipe for Success:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP designation is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant HR role, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and supporting an evolving HR function and organization.
- Previous work experience in a sales, warehousing, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Calm under pressure, thrives in fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience researching, evaluating, and implementing new policies, HR programs, and best practices. Knowledgeable with HR laws/compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal/written communication skills. Proven ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
