A Big Day - Home Dedication & Virtual Concert feat. GENTRI

On Saturday, November 21st, 2020, Habitat for Humanity Broward, BBI, and other corporate sponsors presented the keys to the homes for three incredible families; The Barkley, Charles, and Sealey families, in the city of Miramar, FL.

A Habitat dedication happens when a home is completed, and all the volunteers and sponsors who helped build the house are invited back to celebrate with the new owners.

The road to homeownership with Habitat for Humanity is long and arduous. All homeowners must complete sweat equity hours; it is a hand up, not a handout. Last Saturday, home dedication was about the culmination of this process, of building and strengthening our communities. During the celebration, guests were treated to a special performance by three internationally acclaimed tenors - GENTRI.

To help fundraise for Habitat, GENTRI also performed at 7:30 pm at Coral Ridge's Church with - "A Night of Hope and Thanksgiving," a Holiday concert. GENTRI, short for Gentlemen Trio, showed their passion for helping the community by delivering a free inspirational virtual concert. BBI presented this concert, and all funds collected went to support Habitat's mission of helping families in need of affordable housing.
