BBI at the 2024 Vistar North Buying Show in Atlantic City

The Vistar North Buying Show took place on September 25 and 26, 2024, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. This year marked the sixth annual show, attracting over 1,500 customers from eight Vistar operating companies: Illinois, Michigan, New England, New York, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
The event was a tremendous success for BBI, with 14 associates from our Unattended Retail channel representing multiple clients and driving impressive sales. Among the attendees were BBI key leaders, including Paul Van Vleck, Vice President; Eric King, General Manager; National Accounts Directors Mike Kelley and Dave Jorgensen; and John Seeberger, Vice President of Distribution & Marketing.
BBI’s Northeast Regional Manager, Jeff Terban, expertly managed the event. His meticulous planning and coordination ensured that BBI secured an impressive 58 out of the 211 booths.
As a result of our team’s hard work and collective effort, BBI booked over 163,000 cases for delivery over a six-week period from October 28 to December 9, 2024. The effectiveness of the show for Vistar customers is evident; for instance, Vistar Ohio reported that AVI saved $60,000 by taking advantage of the deals offered at the event!
This achievement highlights BBI’s continued commitment to fostering growth while actively supporting our valued clients and customers.
