BBI at the Southern’s 98th Annual Meeting
The Southern’s 98th Annual Meeting (SAWD) took place on June 15 - 18 at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa at Point Clear, Alabama.
Established in 1922, the Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors, “The Southern,” is a 14-state regional trade association representing the interests of corporations and individuals involved in the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of convenience products.
This year’s annual meeting included a golf tournament and educational sessions with guest speakers such as Scott McPherson, President and CEO of Core-Mark since 2018; Terry Mckenna, an internationally acclaimed speaker; Johnny “Joey” Jones, a retired US Marine and motivational speaker, and around 50 vendors and products available.
