Burdette Beckmann, Inc. Will Sponsor Third Habitat For Humanity Of Broward Home

Burdette Beckmann, Inc. (BBI), a 60-year-old confectionary and snack food brokerage firm based in Hollywood, is proud to announce that it has committed to sponsoring a Pompano Beach home in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Broward.

BBI has been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Broward since 2012 and during that time has sponsored homes in Miramar (already completed) and Hallandale (under construction). The Pompano Beach residence is currently in the pre-development stage.

“We’re ecstatic Burdette Beckmann has decided to add the Pompano Beach home to its sponsorship portfolio,” said Perry Ecton, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Broward. “They have been a tremendous supporter of our organization and we can’t thank them enough for their efforts.”

BBI launched and is now the sponsor of the charity’s annual Sporting Clays Tournament, while BBI Owner and President Robert Taylor is a Board Member. Last year, the company was honored by Habitat for Humanity of Broward with its “Heart of Humanity Award” at the Spirit of Humanity Awards event.

“We are excited to start the process of building another home,” said Taylor. “BBI is committed to doing as much as we can for Habitat and we are keenly attuned into the benefits gained from empowering a family unit. What better way to do that than by enabling them to have a comforting place to call home!”
