2024 Key Largo Classic: Fishing, Fundraising, and Community Impact

The 2024 Key Largo Classic (KLC) Fishing Tournament took place on July 10-11 at the Reefhouse Resort & Marina in Key Largo, FL. The 12th annual event was a memorable celebration supporting Sheridan House's mission to assist children, single moms, and families.

The event kicked off with the Captain's Dinner Party featuring a lively performance by The Collektive, led by Janeen Puente, Tito Puente's granddaughter. The evening also included a thrilling silent auction, where over 200 attendees bid on 85 items, driving excitement and record-breaking fundraising efforts.
 
The following day, 40 sponsored fishing boats set out with participants to showcase their skills amidst Key Largo's stunning summer scenery. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, celebrating the participants' exceptional catches while highlighting the tournament's impact on Sheridan House's mission.

BBI is grateful to share that donations and contributions have more than doubled last year's total, resulting in a $250,000 contribution to Sheridan House.
