BBI Announces Strategic Promotions to Company’s Special Markets Team
BBI is proud to unveil the new structure of its Special Markets Division. With the channel’s sustained growth and the expansion of BBI’s sales and support teams, the company is promoting some of its team members into leadership positions.
Andy Dixon joined BBI in 2013. In his time with BBI, Andy has progressed through key roles, including Account Executive, Regional, and General Manager of Special Markets. He has effectively deployed the national sales team and personalized sales and analytical reporting systems to develop a best-in-class go-to-market approach. His proficiency, expertise, and dedication to leading the Special Markets Team have earned recognition from many clients. Andy has been promoted to Vice President of Special Markets.
Alyssa Ruggieri has been a member of BBI for five years, serving as an Office and E-commerce Specialist. She has successfully led the company’s omni-channel content media, advertising, and product search endeavors. Her contribution has been instrumental in bolstering the company’s presence in the retail and contract business. In recognition of her valuable contributions, Alyssa will be promoted to Director of Special Markets.
Brian Alvarez joined BBI 4 years ago after spending 10 years at Hudson News as the Director of Consumables. During his time with BBI, Brian has effectively leveraged his prior work experience and military background to display outstanding leadership qualities within the team. As a result of his contributions, Brian is being promoted to the position of Director of Special Markets.
Bob Defeo joined BBI 7 years ago to develop BBI’s Telesales capabilities after spending 30 years with Mondelēz in various roles. Bob recently added to his responsibilities by overseeing and growing our presence in the Theatre class of trade. BBI will expand our coverage into Theatre, and Bob will lead these efforts as our new Director of Special Markets.
Andrew Kresevic has been a member of the BBI team for seven years. He has over 25 years of experience in the candy and confectionery industry. With his extensive distribution, purchasing, and sales background, Andrew has successfully opened and developed numerous customer accounts. He will be promoted to Senior Account Executive.
Chris Considine, who started his career with BBI ten years ago, has been instrumental in growing multiple segments of the specialty channel, including hardware, sporting goods, and dining. He will also be promoted to the position of Senior Account Executive.
