BBI C-Store Team Dominates February Trade Show Circuit at 4 Key Events

February proved to be a busy month for the BBI C-Store Team as the company participated in four key trade shows. Despite the hectic schedule, our team successfully covered these events with our most seasoned associates representing over 18 clients with 10+ booths. These events provide a great platform for connecting with potential customers and industry experts and gaining valuable insights into emerging industry trends.

Below we will highlight BBI's attendance at the trade shows and their impact on the industry through their participation.

W.L. Petrey Trade Show

BBI SE C-Store attended the W.L. Petrey Trade Show that took place in Biloxi, Mississippi, on February 8th and 9th. This year's show was led by BBI Account Executive Teresa Lee and supported by Account Executives Ashley Marcellus, Don Compton, Steve and Cindy Cohan.

The show was well attended, and BBI represented 10 manufacturers. This is the second Trade show out of 47 that the SE C-Store teams participate in during our trade show season! W.L. Petrey is a 120-year-old company out of Birmingham, AL, servicing 6 Southeast states.

Stewart Distribution

The 2023 Steward Distribution show was held on February 15th and 16th at the Tifton Campus Convention Center in Tifton, GA. Our BBI Team was led by Account Executives Teresa McDowell, Julie Wallace, Coleen Thompson, Don Compton, and Vice President of Convenience Max Weiner. BBI had 18 manufacturers participate and 8 booths.

Stewart Distribution is a full-service, family-owned supplier of convivence stores in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. They fulfill the customer needs weekly within a 24-hour turnaround. The product mix covers the entire gambit of a Convenience Store. They are a top industry supplier carrying the latest and greatest to ensure our customers have top-performing stores. With over 10,000 SKUs, they guarantee to meet and exceed expectations. They have been around for 99 years and counting.

H.T. Hackney Biloxi Show

The 2023 Trade H.T. Hackney show was held at the Biloxi Convention Center on February 15th and 16th in Biloxi, Mississippi. The BBI team was led by Account Executives Chad Stocton, Teresa Lee, Chris Sprouse, Greg Dye, Steve and Cindy Cohan. BBI had 18 manufacturers patriciate and a total of 13 booths

Zuma & Sons Trade Show

BBI participated in the 2023 Zuma & Sons Trade Show on February 15th at FLA Live Arena (Home of the Florida Panthers). Show attendees included Account Executives Alex Garcia, Ashley Marcellus, and Shane Gordon. BBI had 13 manufacturers participate and 7 booths—the largest out of any broker.

Zuma and Sons is a distributor located in Miami, FL. For over three decades, Zuma & Sons has established itself as a leader in the distribution trade. Through the years, Zuma & Sons moved its operations five times in Miami. From its humble beginnings, the company operates out of a 65,000-square-foot warehouse, employs over 90 people, and delivers daily in over 25 temperature-controlled box trucks (26’). Zuma has over 325 Vendors and over 4900 Products.
