BBI Southeast Convenience Store Team's Trade Show Success

The BBI Convenience team recently made a remarkable impact throughout the Southeast region by attending key trade shows. These events provide a fantastic platform to connect with potential customers, exchange knowledge with experts in the field, and foster valuable connections.

Below we will highlight BBI's attendance at four trade shows and their impact on the industry through their participation.

Southeast Petro Trade Show

The 2025 Southeast Petro Show took place in Myrtle Beach, SC, on March 5th and 6th. BBI had a strong presence at the event, proudly showcasing 28 manufacturers and engaging in valuable interactions with customers. Our team was well represented, with 6 BBI representatives in attendance. Additionally, 12 of our manufacturers joined us at the show, further contributing to its success.

The Southeast Petro Show has been a premier event in the industry for over 43 years and is one of the largest regional trade shows in the Southeast. This two-day event spotlights advancements in retail and petroleum technology, marketing strategies, and offers networking opportunities with professionals in the convenience store sector.

Zuma & Sons Distribution Trade Show

The Zuma Trade Show was held on March 14th, 2025, at the Zuma warehouse in sunny Miami, Florida. This event brought together an impressive lineup of 14 manufacturers for a day of networking and collaboration. Representing BBI, 4 Account Executives actively participated, engaging with attendees and showcasing our commitment to driving success in the industry. Southeast Sales Manager, Alex Garcia, was the team leader for Zuma. His efforts played a key role in creating a productive and impactful experience for everyone involved.

The Zuma & Sons Distribution Trade Show is a significant event hosted by Zuma & Sons, the largest independent distributor in South Florida. Established in 1985 and based in Miami, Florida, the company employs up to 200 individuals and offers a diverse range of products, including candy, beverages, and food service items. The trade show serves as a platform for showcasing products, networking opportunities, and exploring different ways for growth.

Atlantic Dominion Distributors Trade Show

The Atlantic Dominion Distributors Annual Trade Show was held on March 19th, 2025, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The trade show featured 21 manufacturers showcasing their products. It was supported by the efforts of 4 regional representatives and 4 BBI C-Store team members, who worked hard to ensure its success.

The Atlantic Dominion, founded in 1875, has proudly served the convenience store industry for 150 years. BBI has been covering the Capitol Distributing Trade Show for over 20 years, consistently bringing valuable insights and updates to the convenience store sector.

CoreMark Southeast Expo

The BBI Southeast Convenience team is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the CoreMark Southeast Expo. This event was held in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center, on March 20th, 2025. Our team saw enthusiastic participation, with 20 manufacturers involved—11 of whom attended in person—alongside 5 dedicated team members from BBI.

This impactful show covered 7 CoreMark/EBY divisions: Leitchfield, Tampa, Smyrna, Rockmart, Riley, Sanford, and Shepherdsville. Attendance at the expo was excellent, reflecting the strong engagement and interest within the community.
