BBI Celebrated SAWD's Century of Progress

The Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors (SAWD) 100th anniversary and Annual Meeting were held from June 21th to 23rd at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples.

With roots dating back to 1922, SAWD has been an influential advocate for corporations and individuals engaged in the manufacturing, selling, and distributing of convenience products across 14 states.

As a supporter of SAWD, BBI Convenience had the distinct honor of sponsoring the prestigious 100th Anniversary Chairman's Dinner immersive photo booth, which took place on June 21st.

Max Weiner, Vice President of Convenience Store and SAWD Board Member, and Alex Garcia, Southeast Sales Manager, represented BBI and an impressive lineup of six manufacturers at the event. Max Weiner's presence was significant as one of the only two brokers with seats on the SAWD board.

Their Annual Meeting proved to be a dynamic gathering featuring an array of engaging opportunities. Attendees were treated to captivating receptions, dinners, enlightening education sessions, and even enjoyable rounds of golf. Among the many highlights were the "Ten-2-Profit" sessions, providing participants with guaranteed 10-minute appointments to explore potential collaborations. Additionally, the "House of Deals" provided a relaxed and enjoyable environment for conducting business, complete with banners and tables. The SAWD Annual meeting was a great opportunity to forge new alliances, share valuable insights, and uncover exciting business prospects.
