BBI Conquered the Goliath Gauntlet Obstacle Race to Support Sheridan House
On Saturday, April 29, BBI sponsored and participated in the 2023 Goliath Gauntlet 5K Obstacle race in Davie, Florida. The event was held to support Sheridan House's mission to help children and families in need.
The BBI team, consisting of 30 competitors and spectators, plus members from the global food company Colombina, and a representation from Back on My Feet (BoMF), gathered at the race's starting line, ready to tackle the challenging course and test their physical and mental limits.
The race kicked off with a steep incline followed by an ice bath, a series of hurdles, tire runs, rope swings, and wall climbing. Despite the challenging course, all 3 teams pushed through with determination, all while encouraging each other to keep going.
The 2023 Goliath Gauntlet 5K Obstacle was a huge success, with 100% of the proceeds supporting the children's homes at Sheridan House. The involvement of companies like BBI, Colombina, and Back on My Feet demonstrates the power of working together for the greater good.
BBI is committed to giving back to our community and was proud to support this annual Sheridan House event and the important work they do for the South Florida community. Their mission provides opportunities for children and families to reach their full potential, despite any obstacles they may face at home, including single moms, that without the help of this organization, could not have moved forward.
BBI was honored to be a part of such a meaningful event that brings together the community and looks forward to our next opportunity to support this incredible nonprofit – The Key Largo Classic Fishing Tournament.
