BBI Takes on the 18th Annual Run Through Central Park 5K!
The BBI Team laced up their running shoes and hit the pavement for the 18th Annual Run Through Central Park 5K, held on Sunday, February 11. The event featured a flat, fast, out-and-back course winding through picturesque tree-lined streets of Plantation, FL, circling the serene lake in Central Park, and culminating on the track.
Representing BBI were Isabel Bravo, HR Manager; Nohemy Tovar, AR Team Lead; Shelby Mira, AR Associate; Marcela Camacho, Customer Service Representative; and Mishell Arcos, Marketing Manager.
Participants were greeted with an exciting lineup of perks, including long-sleeve tech tees, trophies for Overall, Masters, and Age Group Winners, and special police officer awards. Additionally, all finishers received well-deserved medals to commemorate their achievement. The event buzzed with local vendors offering healthy meal samples and sports facilities showcasing their services.
But beyond the thrill of the race, the event held a deeper significance. All proceeds from the race went towards supporting C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), an organization dedicated to rebuilding the shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line-of-duty deaths.
BBI is proud to have participated in this meaningful event, showcasing our commitment to health and wellness and contributing to a cause supporting our community's heroes. To learn more about C.O.P.S. and its mission, visit its website here.
