BBI Co-Founder Sherrill Taylor to Be Honored with Candy Hall of Fame Induction
Burdette Beckmann Inc. (BBI) is incredibly proud to announce that our visionary co-founder, Sherrill Taylor, will be posthumously inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame Class of 2025—the highest honor in the confectionery industry.
Sherrill Taylor’s vision and dedication helped lay the foundation for BBI’s success. As a trailblazer, mentor, and leader, she championed excellence, integrity, and growth, leaving a lasting impact on both the industry and the countless professionals she inspired. Beyond business, her philanthropic spirit and commitment to giving back enriched the lives of many, making her influence immeasurable.
For over 50 years, the Candy Hall of Fame, presented by the National Confectionery Sales Association (NCSA), has honored professionals who have gone above and beyond to shape the confectionery world. Sherrill’s leadership and legacy continue to guide and inspire us today.
Sherrill joins her husband, Robert Taylor Sr., who was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1995, and their son, Robert Taylor Jr., who was inducted in 2021. This legacy of leadership and dedication within the Taylor family makes this recognition even more meaningful.
The induction ceremony will take place on October 25, 2025, at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, where Sherrill Taylor will be honored among other outstanding industry leaders.
We are deeply honored to celebrate Sherrill Taylor’s legacy and this well-deserved recognition of her lifelong contributions to the confectionery industry.
