BBI Unattended Retail Team Launches Micro Market at Marine Hydraulics International Inc.

BBI’s Unattended Retail Team recently made waves in the marine industry by hosting a successful Micro Market launch event at Marine Hydraulics International Inc. (MHI) in Norfolk, Virginia.

MHI, a leading contractor in marine repair and conversion, provides services to commercial ship owners, the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, Maritime Administration, and operators globally. Located at the strategic port of Hampton Roads, this shipyard is now home to an exciting new amenity for its workforce.

The launch event was a vibrant affair, offering MHI employees a first taste of the diverse food and snack options that will be available in their new Micro Market. The BBI team went the extra mile to ensure the event was both informative and engaging. Attendees not only sampled the market’s offerings but also received guidance on how to shop at the Micro Market, enjoyed raffle prizes, and walked away with various giveaways.

Initially catering to 1,000 employees, the Micro Market is poised for significant expansion, with plans to serve up to 4,000 employees by fall. This growth reflects the increasing demand for convenient, high-quality food options within the shipyard’s workforce.

Brian Sprouse, BBI’s Account Executive, played a pivotal role in the success of the Micro Market’s grand opening. “We are excited to partner with Trolley House, a USG Elite Operator. Employees here are happy to have access to the increased choice of food and snack items directly on the property,” said Sprouse. His enthusiasm underscores BBI’s commitment to enhancing workplace environments through innovative retail solutions.

Trolley House, which already operates over 175 Micro Markets, continues to demonstrate its dedication to providing top-tier food choices for customers and consumers alike.
